It has a brilliant sound with enormous possibilities, and a wide tonal range. It is surprisingly flexible, and gives a very fast response, even on the highest notes. It is very comfortable to play with this model of strings due to the small diameter of the string. It has a ball end. Modifying the gauge to 1/2 PM changes the tension of the string by 4%.
