  • The history of bows Glasser combines total commitment to quality with a passion for innovation. The company was created in 1938 when Leon Glasser started with the handcrafted manufacture of wooden bows. Glasser has progressively replaced wood with synthetic materials, first with fiberglass and then with carbon fiber. The atelier Glasser has been very innovative in many aspects, which have marked a before and after in the manufacture of bows with synthetic materials. It was in 1962 when Leon Glasser and his son Ray invented the fiberglass bow, and got the patent for their work in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan.

    The bows Glasser are manufactured with their patented braided carbon fiber process, which is unique to these bows. Their commitment to excellence has never waned over the years, with each one being produced with Stick of high quality carbon graphite. They are excellent specimens mounted in silver and offer great performance, making them ideal for professional level musicians.
