  • Jacques Poullot is a master cabinetmaker born in Dijon in 1960. In 1976 he won the competition of the Ecole Nationale de Lutherie in Mirecourt and joined the workshop of the archery workshop under the direction of Bernard Ouchard. In 1979, he obtained a patent of technician/artisan in instruments, variant archettist, and completed his four years of training in the workshop of the luthier Claudot Albert in Dijon (the best French technician). In 1983 he started his profession in the same city. He has participated in several competitions of great relevance in the archery sector, and has also been awarded several prizes, such as the second prize in the Certificate of Craftsmanship issued by the Society of the violin of America, the City of Paris prize for his bows of violin (1991), the Grand Prix Dunhill of Master Craftsmen (1998), among others.

All his bows are handcrafted with Pernambuco wood, ebony frog and mounted in silver. Both woods have previously undergone a long drying process in ideal conditions. It should not be ignored that Jacques is a classically trained musician, a fact that provides him with a deep knowledge of the needs that the performer may have, and which he manages to cover in all his pieces. His bows are among the most popular of modern manufacturers, and are ideal for professional level musicians.
