These strings generate a bright and smooth sound with enormous possibilities. The strings have a very low tension, and give a very comfortable feel in the left hand. They are designed for tuning to 440 Hz on medium tension, and 415 Hz for the strong tension. The 1/2 PM gauge modification changes the tension of the string by 4%. These are authentic strings and ideal for baroque instruments.
