This is probably the only guitar string with round wound strings that can really be called a Jazz string. It has some similarity to the Thomastik Jazz Swing model in the materials and string architecture, but this one has the round nickel winding. It produces a strong sound, and a jazzy fundamental tone, which is somewhat brighter than flatwound strings. This extraordinary string is an excellent alternative for the player who wants to achieve a real jazz tone.
