In late 2020, Solera Flamenca launched its own brand of guitar strings: Solera Flamenca Strings. The result was a resounding success in the industry, with hundreds of positive reviews from professional guitarists and enthusiasts worldwide.
However, given the immense confidence they had in their product, the brand wanted to take it a step further and reached out to maestro Vicente Amigo to get his honest opinion on the strings they had developed, to ensure they were on the right track.
After a few days of testing, the maestro conveyed his opinion to the brand: "These are incredible strings, but if they had even lower tension, they would be perfect."
Without hesitation, Solera Flamenca got to work and began making a series of changes to their strings to achieve the specifications desired by Vicente Amigo.
Out of this collaboration, the "Alma" strings by Vicente Amigo were born.
After a rigorous process of trial and error, with various changes made to the original strings, they achieved what both parties were looking for: strings with the same quality and sound performance they already had, but with an even smoother touch.
The maestro's verdict after trying them out was clear: "This is what I was looking for."
