The Marcus Baum Woodbalm removes rosin dust from your bow, leaving the surface noticeably clean and smooth.
How to properly clean your bow with Marcus Baum Woodbalm:
First, separate the frog from the bow by completely unscrewing the button (screw at the end of the bow) and carefully remove the frog. We recommend placing the button in a small container to avoid losing it. Hold the stick by the leather wrapping or winding and let the frog and hair hang. For this reason, the best way to clean the bow is standing.
Shake the Woodbalm cleaner just before use. Apply a small amount of the balm to the Marcus Baum cloth and gently rub the bow stick longitudinally without applying pressure. Initially, the surface will become slightly damp and shiny. If you have applied too much product on the cloth and the stick is still very wet, simply rub it with a dry and soft cloth to remove excess product.
Reattach the frog to the end of the stick. Carefully insert the button and turn clockwise until there is no visible gap between the end of the stick and the button, but without tightening the bow.
We recommend cleaning the bow after playing, allowing the surface to dry completely before using it again. After cleaning, the bow should be completely dry, with a smooth shine and no rosin dust.
How often should the bow be cleaned? There is no standard answer. As soon as rosin visibly accumulates on the stick, it's time to clean it with Marcus Baum Woodbalm.
