The Gliga Genial I Antiqued cello is handcrafted in Romania from wood from the Carpathian Mountains, specifically the Italian Valley, where Antonio Stradivari is known to have selected some of the wood used for his instruments.
Gliga makes all its instruments by hand, from the initial hollowing of the wood to the final finish. Its powerful, precise sound makes the Genial I cello suitable for intensive use by intermediate students in music schools.
