Pirastro Oliv cello strings have a sheep gut core and are made, wound and polished in the traditional way, by hand. Unique, bright, warm and complex sound, typical of gut strings. It has a large tone volume and an easy response. By modifying the gauge to 1/2 PM, the string tension is changed by 4%.
