Alliance strings offer a complementary option for viola players who wish to find the perfect balance in their instrument. They have full tonal richness, great expressive possibilities and are very easy to play. The fiber composite core gives Alliance strings their exceptional sonic qualities, enhanced by the use of tungsten, along with traditional materials such as pure silver or aluminium. The innovation is the use of an improved raw material very different from nylon, which has the same density and elasticity as gut strings. They produce a very new sound quality, which is very close to the sound produced by gut strings. They withstand very high or very low temperatures, and are completely unaffected by highly hydrated atmosphere or very dry air. The strings last two to five times longer than gut strings, depending on conditions of use. They generate a fairly warm, rich tone with great projection.
