Pirastro Eudoxa violin strings have a sheep gut core and are made, wound and polished in the traditional way, by hand. They produce a warm, well-balanced tone with a great diversity of sounds. They are low tension strings, which gives the player a comfortable feel in the left hand. They are ideal for orchestra, chamber music and studio use. Changing the gauge by 1/4 PM changes the string tension by 3%.
