The violin Antonio Wangs Siracusa antiqued baroque model is made with selected maple and spruce, dried for years to ensure the maximum performance of the instrument.
During the construction process, every step of the process is carefully supervised. In addition to checking the weight of each piece, measuring the thickness of the back, measuring the upper top, making sure that each zone has the correct and adequate thickness to produce all the desired tonalities and harmonics, special attention is paid to supervising the vaulting of the top and the back. All instruments are finished and ready to play; the bridge, the soundpost and the pegs are adjusted according to the particularities of each instrument.
