Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Slap Orchestra bass gut/synthetic string set Medium

The Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Slap 445020 double bass string set contains a unique blend of both modern and traditional materials, combining gut on the first and second strings, along with a synthetic core with chrome steel winding on the third and fourth strings. The tone is dark, rich and with great projection, which is ideal for slap style, but also good for old school pizzicato or baroque arco style.
The gut used for the first and second strings of the Evah Pirazzi Slap set is made of sheep, using new techniques that allow to increase the tuning stability without losing the beauty of the sound of strings made of this material. The core material of the third and fourth strings consists of a new synthetic material developed by Pirastro. It offers an unequalled wide range of sound, is absolutely insensitive to changes in temperature and humidity, and offers the player an unprecedented dynamic range.
