Pirastro Flexocor Deluxe double bass strings have a carbon steel core and are wound in chrome steel. They are strings that, thanks to their instantaneous response, are able to translate the impulse of the bow or the fingers into clearly bright or dark sounds with great volume every second. They possess a wealth of tonal colours, as well as a full resonance and an unrivalled projection. In terms of intonation, these strings offer the player a perfect sense of control and security at all times, as well as exceptional stability. They are suitable for solo pieces within an orchestral concerto, classical orchestral repertoire or pizzicato pieces.
