Pirastro Perpetual Orchestra Heavy strings offer a fuller and warmer sound than the Perpetual Orchestra Medium. Their larger gauge provides greater tonal power, while their extremely flexible steel core ensures comfortable playability. Even though they are the thickest strings in the range, they maintain a similar tension.
These strings deliver strong projection and great clarity. They settle in quickly and offer excellent stability, with a powerful and focused low end. The increased diameter enhances the strings’ response, providing a highly rewarding experience both in pizzicato and with the bow.
