D´Addario Helicore Octave violin strings are designed to play an octave below traditional violin tuning, and thus discover a new world of tonalities and stylistic possibilities. It uses the same basic technologies as the original Helicore violin set, although the strings are considerably thicker than traditional strings. As a result, they require extra care to ensure that they are correctly fitted to your violin.
