The Gliga Gems II violin has been handcrafted in Romania with woods from the Carpathian Mountains, where it is known that Antonio Stradivari chose some of the woods used for his instruments.
Gliga manufactures all his instruments by hand, from carving the woods to the final touch, using mostly oil varnishes in thin layers until achieving a great transparency. The antiqued finish brings a great warmth to the appearance of the instrument.
The strength and precision of the sound makes this model suitable for intensive use in music schools.
This model comes with Thomastik Alphayue strings, facilitating the projection of the sound and improving the performance of the instrument.
