The Stentor Messina violin is the first model in Stentor’s range of high-quality orchestral instruments. Each instrument is handcrafted in a dedicated workshop within the factory, where experienced craftsmen work under the supervision of a master luthier using traditional construction methods.
The instrument is carved from selected solid tonewoods, featuring a spruce top and highly figured maple back, ribs, and neck. The traditional hand-applied shellac varnish enhances the natural beauty of the wood and gives each instrument a refined finish.
Each violin is individually set up in the workshop to ensure excellent response and tonal quality. The Stentor Messina is fitted with Pirastro strings.
